Entrepreneur Club Invites "Ask Laila" Co-Founder, Mr. B.K. Birla

Entrepreneur club of IIIMLucknow IPMX batch 2011-2012 invited Mr. B.K Birla, one of the founding members of Asklaila for an informal discussion with the IPMX students under the Entrepreneur Connect Program.

Mr. Birla shared his experiences on venturing out with AskLaila, a local search engine which is currently operational in 752 cities of India.

Starting from the launch of Asklaila to going into the myriad aspects of doing a business, Mr. Birla gave us a sneak peek into the life of an entrepreneur. Mr. Birla helped us in understanding how does a revenue model of a company work, how the data is gathered for local search engines, how does a company process that data and last but not the least how a company handles the ever changing dynamics of local search engine markets!

He not only shared his experience with Asklaila, a local search engine, but also shared his entrepreneurial stints with Potluck restaurant located in South Bangalore and a Music Club called  "Bhoole Bisre Geet" which is growing in leaps and bounds.

"Do Business for satisfaction not for money!" was a clear message from Mr. Birla to the students, and it was indeed an enriching and informative session for all the aspiring entrepreneurs.
